What is NoCrew really all about? That question has been asked many times. The answer is pretty simple, though: NoCrew is, from the beginning, an Atari demo group. Some members used to do demos for the beautiful Motorola 68000-based machine, and still does. But, today most hacking efforts are concentrated to the Linux platform, since most of us grew old from the Motorola computers. If you don't know what a computer demo is, or why hundreds of people gathered in schools at demo parties to compete in programming, graphics or sound - then find out somewhere else. NoCrew was founded around the first of may 1989 by CMT and Rocco, at a
computer party. The only official member today is CMT, but we have a lot
of unofficial members. Take a look at
the members list to find out who
they are, or visit the
history pages
to get the whole story, with all the details.
